American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP): An organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide. AFSP funds several programs to reduce stigma and help the public better understand suicide.

Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC): US’s only federally supported resource center devoted to advancing the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention. Provides technical assistance, training, and materials to increase the knowledge and expertise of suicide prevention practitioners and other professionals serving people at risk for suicide. Promotes collaboration among a variety of organizations that play a role in developing the field of suicide prevention.
